HOTEL ELECTRA

We stayed for one night at the Electra Hotel in early July. The hotel is set on a quiet pedestrian street right next to the port and beach of Volos. Although family-run the rooms were clean, ready on time, we didn't have to wait at all, and the staff were always willing to serve you. Although at first glance it looks old, I would highly recommend it. Excellent value for money.

I called them from the bus on the way up from Athens. Panos answered the phone, and took the details, and did not seem surprised with a 'see you in two hours'. We arrived, and I think he remembered me. Swiftly accommodated, then he very kindly assisted me, with the usual travelers problems. Nothing too much of a problem and a great help. Maria looked after us once again at breakfast, with a smile as usual. Account paid and off to the port for the ferry. Lovely friendly hosts, and a quiet comfortable hotel - What more can you ask for? I stayed at Electra for 4 days and I can absolutely recommend the hotel for travelers visiting Volos. We found this hotel by accident when arriving to Volos: after asking about the prices from several hotels I can say Electra was absolutely the best choice because the price was more or less the same as in many other hotels but in Electra the buffet breakfast was included in the price.
